Manufacturing

Rock West Composites has the experience and facilities to implement a wide range of composite manufacturing techniques, including roll-wrap, filament winding, press curing, bladder molding, and oven curing.

Though most of our customers specify products made exclusively from carbon fiber, we can also fabricate in a variety of composite fiber materials, the most common of which are fiberglass and aramids. Rock West also offers a range of matrix materials, including thermoset and thermoplastic systems.

Rock West Composites has the capability to produce roll-wrapped tubes up to 10’ in length, and filament-wound tubes up to 20’ in length.  For circular cross sections, the maximum outer diameter on our tubes is 7 in.  We also have the ability to provide tubes in a variety of non-circular cross sections, such as square, rectangle, hexagonal, etc.
