Tow / Roving

We use dry carbon fiber tow and fiberglass roving in our filament winding processes. Carbon tow is used to strengthen parts by winding at different angles, usually +/-45, +/-30, +/-15 and hoop (90). We offer standard, intermediate, and high modulus carbon tow. Fiberglass roving is used in a similar manner to carbon tow but is slightly heavier and less expensive. Fiberglass is often used in applications where electrical isolation is important.
