These products provide a lower bar for entry for customers looking to incorporate carbon fiber and other composites into their projects. This low-cost line is sourced internationally and is best utilized in applications that do not have engineering critical features, but has the convenience of shipping from our Utah operation for expedient delivery.

Unlike metals which have similar properties in all directions (isotropic), the properties of composites are varying, dependent on the orientation of the fibers in each layer. This particular carbon fiber fabric tube has an internal diameter (ID) of 0.25" and an outer diameter (OD) of 0.32". The outer ply of material on this tube is a unidirectional finish. The core of this tube is almost always comprised of multi-directional "uni" plies which makes most carbon fiber fabric & unidirectional tubes ideal for bending and compression applications.
