Policies

Quick Shipping:

• We generally ship your order within 24 hours on regular business days!
• Next Day Air and any other expedited services are available, but not guaranteed to ship same day.
  Most orders are processed through the warehouse the day after the order is received.
• If you have an order that must ship out the same day, please phone us prior to 1pm MST to determine whether or not we can fulfill your request.
• If we are temporarily out of stock, we will give an expected lead time for production and keep you updated.
• If you need to verify availability, please call us to check inventory status at (801) 566-3402.

Returns:

• All returns subject to a $20 re-stocking fee.
• Return requests must be made by Buyer within 30 days of date on invoice.
• No returns or exchanges on items that have been modified from their original length and finish (sanding or cutting), even if that work is done at our facility.
• All returns must include an RMA # (Return Material Authorization) issued by RWC or the return shipment will be denied by RWC.
• Goods must be shipped to RWC by Buyer within 7 days of issuance of RMA #.
• Prepregs must be inspected within 24hrs of receipt and communication must be initiated with RWC within 48 hours of receipt for any manufacturer defects or other quality issues. RWC does not return or refund prepregs of any style except in extreme cases or shipping negligence OR issues traceable back to manufacture defects.
• Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of a RWC error, Buyer shall pay the cost of return shipping and is responsible for insuring the shipment against loss or damage.
• Goods that are returned in used or damaged condition will not be eligible for refund.

Exchanges:

• Eligible for full refund (less shipping costs). No re-stocking fee
• Exchange requests must also be made by buyer within 30 days of date of invoice.
• All exchange requests must include an RMA # (Return Material Authorization) issued by RWC or the shipment will be denied by RWC.
• Goods that are returned in used or damaged condition will not be eligible for refund.

Credit Card Payments:

For immediate approval, orders may be placed using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.

Payment Terms:

Unless otherwise agreed to in advance, terms are NET 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF INVOICE. Rock West Composites (RWC) may require full or partial payment or payment guarantee in advance of shipment whenever, in its opinion, the financial condition of the buyer so warrants.

Service Charges:

RWC reserves the right to assess a service charge of 1.5% per month on unpaid balance until paid. Buyer shall be liable for all expenses, including attorney’s fees, related to the collection of past due accounts.

Credit Approval:

All orders are subject to credit approval.

Past Due Accounts:

RWC reserves the right to withhold shipment of materials pending resolution of past due account balances.

Credit Terms:

RWC reserves the right to revise credit terms based on credit history.
Pricing: RWC prices and discounts are subject to change without notice and do not include any state or local taxes. Buyer shall pay, in addition to the price of the goods, all applicable taxes and excises unless Buyer furnishes RWC with a valid “Reseller Number” or copy of tax exemption certificates. Prices are quoted and payable in US Dollars. All orders are subject to applicable shipping, freight, taxes, and handling charges.

Shipments and Delivery:

All goods are sold FOB RWC shipping point. Goods may be shipped in a single shipment or multiple shipments at RWC’s discretion. RWC will attempt in good faith to meet estimated shipping dates but shall not be liable to Buyer for any loss or damages due to delay caused by RWC.

International Shipments:

We ship using UPS for all international orders. Certain products in our online store are not allowed to ship outside the U.S.A. You will be notified of these products at time of purchase and or upon purchase review by our staff. International shipments are subject to additional charges due to importation and customs fees. Rock West will not be responsible for reimbursement of these fees unless Rock West shipped erroneously. On occasion the charges automatically collected by the website may not be sufficient for the service. In this case we will reach out to you to collect the difference. Contact us for help with ECCN or HIS classification.

Damaged Shipments:

Shipments received by Buyer in a damaged condition must immediately be identified to Carrier. All claims for damaged shipments must be filed with Carrier.

Cancellations:

Orders may be cancelled without cancellation charges provided the order has not been initiated by RWC.

Claims:

all shipments should be checked immediately after arrival. All claims, whether referring to errors in pricing, mis-shipments, or defective goods, must be called in or e-mailed to RWC within 7 calendar days. All damaged goods and containers must be kept for inspection.

Limited Warranty:

RWC warrants that all goods shipped are free from defects in materials and workmanship. RWC cannot foresee all conditions under which RWC products will be used and therefore cannot warrant or guarantee any performance results. Buyers should always perform tests prior to using RWC products in any application. Buyer waives any claim against RWC for direct, indirect, consequential, or exemplary damages including without limitation, damage which may incur as a result of Buyer’s use or misuse of the product or the product’s failure to perform to any expected performance level.
