Unidirectional Carbon Tubing
Basic carbon fiber tubes ◾ Low cost compared to fabric finish tubing ◾ Simple clean finish
This is the workhorse of our carbon fiber tubing products. The majority of our unidirectional tubes are comprised of 0° and 90° degree plies with an occasional layup deploying ±45° plies, but we also offer pultruded uni tubes. While most all of our roll-wrapped tubes have underlying layers of unidirectional carbon fiber, this carbon tubing product line has the outermost layer of unidirectional fiber instead of a woven fabric. We offer cutting and sanding services for most of our tubes. NOTE: Generally 10 plies of a standard modulus fiber = a wall thickness of 0.060".
