Rock West Composites is proud to introduce a line of tubes specifically crafted for the rigors of space. Constructed with M55J fiber and cyanate ester resin these tubes are ready to take on anything. The space grade Toray M55J fiber and layup results in a low CTE part with quasi-isotropic properties. The Patz PMT-F33 cyanate ester resin system exhibits low outgassing, low moisture uptake and has a high Tg compared to epoxy resin systems. Each space grade order includes a certificate package with dimensional inspection, material certificates, traceability, and a statement of verification. All tubes are serialized and traceable. Additional options include full traveler verification (copies of out time tracking, ply angle and cure verifications), resin content testing (up to two test per tube available), and short beam shear testing.
