Tow / Roving

We use dry carbon fiber tow and fiberglass roving in our filament winding processes. Tow is used to strengthen parts by winding at different angles, usually +/-45, +/-30, +/-15 and hoop (90). At this time, we cannot resell carbon tow. Fiberglass roving is used in a similar manner to carbon tow but is slightly heavier and less expensive. Fiberglass is often used in applications where electrical isolation is important.
