Longer lengths, thicker walls and lower costs! Fiberglass is naturally radio transparent and therefore used in many radome and communication applications. Unlike fiberglass' stiffer, stronger brother, carbon fiber, glass is a non-conductive material. For this reason it is often used in ladders and electrical applications where electrical conductivity could be dangerous.
Designed and engineered to work with our INFINITubeV product line accessories including the CR-INFV telescoping ring mechanisms among other components. Continuous fibers used in filament winding enable increased strength and stiffness. Off axis ply orientation (Inherent from the winding process) offers good torsional stiffness.
