Higher stiffness and strength. Similar to our standard modulus fabric tubing, with all the structural qualities of unidirectional tubing with an outer woven fabric ply. The intermediate modulus unidirectional fibers add stiffness and strength over the standard modulus. Our 1.000" ID x 1.097" OD intermediate modulus carbon fiber tube has great structural properties, offers the highest strength option and is a great balance of stiffness and strength.

INFINITubeV 1.000" ID intermediate modulus tubing is manufactured for use with button clips, push button ball lock pins or you can design your own. Specially designed clamps (size 2) are now available. Additional sizes coming soon!

- All tubes (part #'s 464xx) in INFINITubeV have an ultra thin woven fiberglass inner layer to maintain superior machine-ability for hole drilling (if using button clips or locking pins) or slot cutting

- 0° Fibers maximize bending stiffness. Consider bending the tube over your knee.
- 45° Fibers maximize torsional stiffness. Typically plied together in an opposing manner, i.e. ±45°. Consider twisting the tube like a vehicle's driveshaft.
- 90° Fibers maximize crushing stiffness and generally assist in overall tube strength. Consider laying the tube on the ground and stepping on it.
