STRATOplateGEO laminates are specifically designed as a readily available space flight ready plate that can be made to order in short lead time. Plates use M55J high modulus carbon fiber (78 Msi) with PMT-F33 cyanate ester resin in a quasi-isotropic layup. Boasting a near-zero in-plane CTE, high bending stiffness, and high in-plane stiffnesses in any given direction, these are the highest performance plates we offer. These plates/laminates can be used as sheet stock, or they can be combined with your choice of honeycomb core and film adhesive to make space grade sandwich panels. Designed specifically for Medium Earth Orbits, Geostationary Orbits and Deep Space applications, the maximum suggested use temperature is 450°F (230°C). Full traceability is maintained to material lots, cure cycle detail, and buy-up coupon testing. STRATOplateGEO laminates are autoclave cured. Still not exactly what you’re looking for? Features & Benefits
Each space grade order includes a certificate package with dimensional inspection, material certificates, traceability, and a statement of verification. All plates are serialized and traceable. Additional options include full traveler verification (copies of out-time tracking, ply angle and cure verifications), resin content testing (up to three tests per plate available), and short beam shear testing.
