Filament Wound Carbon Tubing is a very long continuous fiber that adds to strength and stiffness. Filament wound tubes are excellent for torsion, long single-piece tubes, and a unique aesthetic. Most economical for larger scale production. The sanded finish on this tube gives us more control over the OD so we are able to provide tighter tolerances compared the the un-sanded options. This sanded carbon fiber filament wound tube has a 1.181" ID x 1.27" OD and is sold by the foot. The longest continuous length available for this tube is 132" long.
