Braided 0.50" Carbon Fiber Sleeve ◾ Available in Light-Weight Material ◾ Excellent Strength to Weight Ratio ◾ 281 gsm

Our braided carbon fiber sleeves expand by about 20-25% of their original/nominal diameter and they pull down by about 60% of the nominal. It can be made waterproof when combined with other materials like epoxy. Carbon advantages include high heat tolerances and resistance (when combined with high heat matrix such Epoxy resin), Flexible thermal and electrical properties 1.5x lighter and 3x stronger than aluminum.

This braid is sold by the linear yard where 1 in the shopping cart is equal to 36" in length x 0.50" (the width). If you purchase more than 1 in the cart, you will be supplied with the material in continuous format, i.e. if you purchase quantity 5, you will receive 36" x 5 = 180 inches x 0.50".
