Launch Vehicle and Lunar Lander Structures

LIGHTWEIGHT PLUS STRENGHT! Our team has designed and fabricated a range of launch vehicles and lunar lander structures including fairings, struts, and payload adapters. We have experience with multiple launch providers requirement sets, as well as the lunar environment.

Fairings

Composites are an excellent material to protect the spacecraft from the impact of aerodynamic pressure and heating during ascent. With our materials, design and manufacturing expertise, we can help you maximize components and assembly properties to achieve superlight, strong, and aerodynamic shapes, where they are covers, cable raceways, shrouds or other fairings.

Struts

Our expertise in manufacturing carbon fiber tubes in a variety of techniques and configurations means we understand the challenges inherent in thick-walled carbon tubing, carbon fiber machining, and integrated inserts of other materials. Our experience will make sure you meet or exceed your strength and stiffness requirements without common pitfalls.

Payload Adapters

Composites are excellent for stabilizing payloads.

Carbon fiber composite structures can be tuned to the level of stiffness you need.

Shown here one of the a satellite payload adapters. You can read more about this program in our case study Smallsat Launch Adapter Structure.
