PROTOTYPE TOOLING

For single runs to test a concept we can use quick manufacturing methods like 3D printing or plaster molding.

PRODUCTION TOOLING

For ongoing production needs, or highly specialized one-offs, we will use a more durable solution like composite or metal tools which can stand up to multiple uses.

Cure Selection

Selecting how a part will be cured also dictates the material and tool manufacturing method. Parts that need to be cured in high temperatures require tools that can withstand the same environments, usually made with steel, anodized aluminum, carbon, or glass composites. We make tools for everything from open faced – vacuum bag curing to high-heat, high-pressure curing in an autoclave.

Tools for Machining and Inspection

In addition to making tools for molding, we also make tools for finishing and inspecting the parts. From drill and trim fixtures used to machine the molded part, to inspection fixtures that guarantee we’ve met your specifications, we build all the tools needed to ensure your project is a complete success.
